A Bit About Me
I've always been interested in what makes us connect and communicate in a meaningful way:
whether that's through a specific word choice, an attentive 1:1 conversation, a full-length story, or a silent nod.

I didn't know I wanted to be a Speech-Language Pathologist when I grew up,
but now, I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Work Experience
Boston
After earning my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University, I began my career at Beverly Hospital on Boston’s north shore.
There, I supported a wide range of pediatric learners, including those with articulation impairment, language delay (late talkers), reading impairment (dyslexia), and neurodiverse needs (ASD, ADHD), and addressed various adult conditions (aphasia, progressive language/memory loss, voice changes, and swallowing impairment).

I also pursued my Certificate of Advanced Study in Literacy & Language through the Massachusetts Institute of Health Professions (MGH IHP).
Chicago
Upon relocation to the midwest, I joined the Chicago Speech and Reading Center.
I completed Orton-Gillingham Plus training through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE), and in addition to being an interventionist, became a clinician trainer for the center.
Calgary
Now that I am back in Calgary, I balance my time between private practice at Avid and acute care at Rockyview Hospital.
My work with adults in the medical setting is both challenging and rewarding. I help make high stakes decisions based on a full, and often complex, clinical picture and patient goals. This work adds depth and range to my experience and approach.
